River Dart Moorings are located in Old Mill Creek, a quiet, unspoilt anchorage just a few minutes by dinghy from the historic town of Dartmouth.
Our deep-water and pontoon moorings are at the mouth of Old Mill Creek. Our trot moorings run from East to West from the mouth of Old Mill Creek along the main channel. Our swinging moorings run North-South at the edge of Old Mill Creek and adjacent to the main flow of the river Dart.
Although there is no direct land access to the moorings they can be reached easily by boat from Dartmouth, Kingswear & Dittisham.
Latitude: 50° 22′ 16.36″ N
Longitude: 3° 36′ 0.89″ W

Moorings Access
The moorings, although tidal, are accessible for about 3/4 of the tide. All moorings, except our deep-water mooring will dry out. The timing and extent of this will depend on prevailing tidal and weather conditions. Your boat will need to be able to take the ground safely.
Prior to accepting an offer of a mooring we recommend you inspect the mooring to satisfy yourself it is a suitable location and that your boat will comfortably and safely take the ground.
There is no access to the moorings directly from the shore. However they are only a short dinghy ride from Dartmouth & Kingswear or from Dittisham, a mile up- stream.
Alternatively a yacht taxi service runs from Dartmouth’s Town Quay.
